The Brindleyplace Film Festival

Brindleyplace Film Festival

The Brindleyplace film festival is coming to a square near you!

The week-long festival is free and open to anyone! It will take place between Monday 7 and Sunday 13 July, with one film shown each evening at 6pm, followed by two films on both Saturday and Sunday (the first at 12pm and the second at 4pm).

It has been revealed that the Film Festival – which this year boasts a theme of 80s vs 90s – will kick off with Steven Spielberg’s 1982 classic E.T. Other films on the schedule include Top Gun, Mrs Doubtfire, Aladdin and Dirty Dancing as voted by the general public!

There are a limited number of seat pads and blankets available provided by Brindleyplace. Come early, bring a picnic blanket and get yourself the best seats in the house with some free pop corn on a first come first served basis too!

The take-away menu for the Film Festival includes mini hotdogs from Café Opus, burritos, nachos and tortilla chips and dips from Chillacas, burgers from Gourmet Burger Kitchen, and Thai green curry, satay chicken and spring rolls from Thai Edge.

Here's the schedule. Make sure you check film ratings before attending the event, to avoid disappointment and ensure suitability.
