Bury St Edmunds Carpark Death - Woman Named

Police have named a woman who was found dead in a pub car park in Bury St Edmunds.
A woman, who was found dead in a car park in Bury St Edmunds has been named as Mary Roberts, aged 50 of no fixed address.
Formal identification of her body was carried out this afternoon, Thursday 28 March.
Two men remain in custody, arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with Mary Roberts’ death. The 55 and 59-year-old men, both from the Bury St Edmunds area are being held in custody at the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre.
The cordon surrounding the car park in Risbygate Street, Bury St Edmunds where Mary Roberts’ body was found, at around 9am on Wednesday 27 March has now been lifted but two cordons remain in place in Petch Close, Bury St Edmunds.
