There’s something for every member of the family at the Royal Cornwall Show.

It’s the county’s biggest annual event and is brim-full of exhibits and activities which offer so much in the way of entertainment, competition, information, shopping and all that’s best in food and farming.

It's a time and place to meet old friends, conduct business, enjoy Cornwall in all its glory and to welcome thousands of visitors from outside our county.

More than two centuries later our aim is to keep raising the standard. It's good for agriculture, good for tourism, good for the economy, the environment and good for the soul!

This is a top agricultural show which attracts increasing numbers of animals, entered into the hundreds of classes which are refined each year. And year on year people travel from further and further afield in the hope of coming away with an award.

There is opportunity to get up close to thousands of animals, of all shapes and sizes, who assemble to compete for the top honours. The judging is fascinating and the grand parade of prize winning cattle, sheep and goats provides a real spectacle in the show's main ring on days two and three

Royal Cornwall Show Competition on Heart South West/Cornwall, May 2019

RULES

1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/ (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to Royal Cornwall Show radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from 20th May to 31st May on Heart South West/Cornwall (the “Radio Station”).
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. 

Details of the Competition:

1. To enter the Competition an Entrant must call 0345 373 7777 / 01872 554466 (the “Telephone Line”).  Telephone calls will be charged at standard network rates.  The opening and closing times of the Telephone Line will be given out on air.
2. A caller will be selected at random. A TRUE or FALSE question will be asked about Cornwall. The caller will need to answer correctly to win. If they get it wrong, another caller with selected a random to play. A maximum of 3 callers will air. If no one gets the correct answer then no prize will be given.

1. Entrants must be over 18

Prize:

1. A family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) to the Royal Cornwall Show 2019.
2. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
