1. The Folly Farm promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from 24/06/2024 to 19/07/2024 on Heart South Wales. Global is the Promoter. The ‘Promotion Partner’ mentioned in these Specific Rules is Folly Farm.

2. IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Promotion Terms and Conditions’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.

Details of the Promotion:

3. To enter the Promotion, it will be signposted by the presenters and text in with the keyword FOLLY (the ‘Text Message Line’).

4. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion but may still be charged.

5. We are not responsible for any latency experienced by your mobile phone network, which may delay the delivery of text messages to and/or from us.

6. Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. Standard rate text messages to promotion shortcodes are not normally included in ‘inclusive’ packages and may be charged. If entry is made by text message, be sure to use the correct shortcode. In all cases, please check with your service provider for more details and charges. If you are not the bill payer, you must obtain the bill payer’s permission before entering.

7. Within one hour of the closing time of the Text Message Line, all eligible entries will be entered into a draw. One correct entry will be selected at random and the entrant will be contacted by one of our representatives via telephone on the number on which you entered. If the entry is ineligible, we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another entrant, as applicable.

8. If you are this entrant, you may be asked to have a call with a presenter[, during which you may be required to answer a further question or questions or complete a further task(s)]. That call will either be broadcast live or pre-recorded for future broadcast. You must answer your telephone when we contact you. Someone else cannot answer the phone, participate or accept a prize on your behalf. If: (i) you fail to answer the phone; (ii) someone else answers the phone; (iii) the call goes to voicemail; (iv) the call becomes disconnected; (v) you are not (or do not seem to us to be) in a position to safely and/or lawfully take or remain on the call (for example, if you are or seem to be driving); or (vi) you are not audible or intelligible or we are not able to conduct a conversation with you in a manner that is suitable for broadcast for any reason beyond our control (including, but not limited to: low/no signal on your device, a call is dropped by any network, you are travelling, there is too much background noise or feedback, etc.); before or during the Promotion, you may be disqualified and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable. If you have complied with all applicable terms and conditions, and if you are successful (including correctly answering any questions and/or successfully completing any tasks, as applicable) then you will be declared the winner of the Promotion.

9. We and Promotion Partner may publish and publicise your name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your and any applicable third party’s (for example a guest/travel companion) association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion.

10. In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we and our Promotion Partner may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable, in connection with the Promotion. We may also publish your and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture.

Eligibility:

11. The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who are based in the UK at the time of entry.

12. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.

Prize:

13. One winning entrant per week will receive £250 cash and 1 Family Annual Pass

Family annual pass (family = 4 people)

The family annual pass ticket letter will be emailed directly to the winner, so will require full name and email address please. This then needs to be brought to the park on their first visit and presented to the admissions staff, who will then make up the annual passes.

14. Annual passes can be issued as an individual pass per person or with all persons who have purchased an annual pass issued on one pass. Where individual passes are issued all of the following information must be supplied, but where a joint pass is issued only one individual on the pass needs to supply the following information:

15. A photograph must be taken of ALL persons on the annual pass

16. When an annual pass is purchased the annual pass holder acknowledges that the processing of their personal data is necessary for the performance of our contract with them, therefore enabling them to obtain and use their annual pass. For full details on how and why we process this data please see our privacy policy.

17. Where an annual pass has been purchased for a disabled visitor, the pass holder acknowledges that we will be collecting sensitive personal data (e.g health information regarding a disability or impairment) and that this information has been given deliberately and voluntarily by the pass holder.

18. If an annual pass is being purchased for an individual under the age of 16, in doing so the parent/guardian purchasing the pass gives consent for the processing of the child’s data.

19. Annual passes are valid for one year from date of purchase, whatever time of year you buy them.

20. Disabled visitors buy a standard annual pass and this automatically gets them a free pass for a carer. Proof of disability is required and more information can be found here.

21. Admission charges apply from the date of a child’s 2nd birthday. From this date toddlers are required to have their own annual pass and will no longer be able to enter free for free with any accompanying annual pass holders.

22. Toddler annual passes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase as long as the pass holder is 2 years old on the date of purchase.

23. Our family annual pass is valid for two adults and two children or one adult and three children. If you have a toddler or a disabled concession in your family group then it may be cheaper to purchase your passes individually as these products are already reduced.

24. Annual passes get you entrance into Folly Farm only, extra charges apply to some of our optional attractions.

25. We ask our annual pass holders to check our opening times before you visit, as we close mid-week during the winter months.

26. Our annual pass cards carry your photo, so they can’t be used by anyone else.

27. You should bring your annual pass every time you visit. We’re sorry but there’s a small admin charge if you forget it.

28. Lost annual passes can be replaced at the park (a new photo will need to be taken) and we we’re sorry but we have to charge £5 for a new one.

29. Annual pass holders under the age of 14 still need to bring an adult with them.

30. Unless otherwise stated an annual pass cannot be purchased in conjunction with any other promotional offer.

31. Annual passes may not be able to be used for any special paid-for events so please check before you visit.

32. Our general park rules and terms and conditions apply to annual pass holders as well.

Barn feeding experience (Lamb or Goat only)

This one-off experience is for up to a maximum of four people and is subject to seasonal operating times and availability. Suitable for ages 3+. Please check the website to see which experience (Lamb or Goat) is running during your chosen period of visiting. Please ask the winners to contact Folly Farm by phone/email in order to book their Lamb or Goat feeding experience. In order to successfully book the winners in for their chosen experience we would require full winners’ details please. Full feeding experience T’s&C’s are set out below.

33. There are a limited number of spaces available daily, so please call/email to book as soon as you can (there is one session per day for a maximum of four people). A booking confirmation email will be sent to you so please bring this with you on the day.

34. Our meet and feed our lambs/goats experience requires one to one adult supervision for any children under the age of six. The accompanying adult doesn’t need to buy an experience but they will need to purchase an entry ticket.

35. Spectators are welcome to watch the animal experience from the public areas but can’t enter the enclosures unless they are accompanying someone under the age of 14. Spectators will have to pay the park admission price.

36. Sensible footwear should be worn as our enclosures may be slippery and you may be required to walk through a foot dip to meet our biosecurity measures. Old clothes you don’t mind getting milk on would be advisable.

37. I’m afraid we cannot guarantee the animals will want to feed.

38. The experiences are accessible to wheelchair users. Please feel free to ring to discuss any requirements.

39. We reserve the right to cancel or move an animal experience for operational reasons, you will offered an alternative date or time.

40. We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you can no longer take part in an experience you have booked, so we can make your space available to another visitor. You will need to ring the booking office again to re-book before your experience.

41. Some of our enclosures feature webcams which are streamed live on our website, at the time of booking you will be asked if you consent to the fact you may appear on these webcam streams whilst taking part in your experience.

42. We will endeavour to transfer the prize money to your bank account within 28 days but are not responsible for any delays. You must provide all necessary details via the method directed within 14 days after the original request to do so otherwise the prize will be forfeited at our discretion.

43. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. By way of example, without limitation, Travel is not included within the prize.

44. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.

45. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

Data Protection:

47. Your personal data that you provide to us will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited) and our Promotion Partner as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to the Phone-paid Services Authority, Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.

48. By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject, and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy include hyperlink. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion. If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s) have given you consent to provide us and our Promotion Partner with their personal data.

49. You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us and/or our Promotion Partner when you enter a Promotion. If you choose to opt-in, we and/or our Promotion Partner will use your personal data for marketing purposes (see Global's  Privacy Policy and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy for more details). You can withdraw your consent to marketing at any time by unsubscribing.

50. We, our Promotion Partner and the prize providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEA and UK for the purposes of administering the Promotion. Where any transfers are made outside of the EEA or UK we and the Promotion Partner will ensure appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data are in place.

51. We will hold your personal data for a period of up to 3 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations.

52. You may request the removal of your personal details from our database by contacting privacy@global.com. If you request that your personal details be removed prior to the conclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim any prize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
