The South Coast has some of the best beaches in the world - and that's official.
Keep Britain Tidy today announced the results of the annual Blue Flag and Quality Coast Awards.
Many seaside resorts have been rewarded for their top-notch facilities and high standard of quality including the Isle of White with 14 awards - 3 Blue Flags, 11 Quality Coast Awards.
Dorset's Sandbanks has become the first beach the first in the UK to receive a Blue Flag every year - for the past 25 years.
Phil Barton, chief executive of Keep Britain Tidy, which is responsible for the Blue Flag scheme in England and the Quality Coast Awards, said: "We're absolutely thrilled that England has more Blue Flag beaches this year and we urge more holiday-makers to take advantage of the South East's award-winning seaside resorts this summer.
"It's great to see that more beaches along our coastline have achieved high standards of excellence for visitors."
