Sam Faiers is set to return to Mummy Diaries for another series on ITV2 on Wednesday night, where she will be appearing alongside her boyfriend Paul Knightley and their two children baby Paul and daughter Rosie.

The pair -who also star alongside Billie Faiers and Greg Shepherd - have given fans access to their family life and relationship in the popular reality series, with many fans speculating as to when they pair will finally get married.

When did Sam Faiers and Paul Knightley meet?

They met back in October 2014 in Essex bar shortly after Sam split from her ex-boyfriend and TOWIE co-star Joey Essex.

Speaking on the moment she met the father of her children, Sam told MailOnline: "I didn't expect to meet anyone... particularly after such an on-off relationship. I suppose they say it happens when you're not looking for it."

Paul does indeed star on The Mummy Diaries alongside his wife Sam Faiers and sister-in-law Billie Faiers.

The reality show which airs on ITVBe will resume for its fifth series on Wednesday 6th March.

Just 10 months after meeting, Sam was pregnant with their first child Paul following a whirlwind romance.

The pair had previously discussed with OK! magazine that they saw themselves having children together.

"We talk about kids more than we do marriage, but as a couple we want the whole package,” Sam explained. 

Sam later gave birth to their son Paul, who was named after his father, and was born on December 29th 2015.

She took to Twitter to announce the news to her followers as the new mum wrote: "Welcome to the world our beautiful baby boy."

Sam and Paul film a documentary which followed their transition into parenthood, and the one-off show was a hit with fans. It was later made into a series following the documentary's success.

The pair have been dating for four years, and have two children together, however they are still not engaged just yet.

Sam, in recent series of the family show, has dropped hints that she wanted to get married however Paul is yet to pop the question.

Sam announces second pregnancy with Rosie

Sam announced in July 2017 that she was expecting her second child, a daughter named Rosie who was born in November of the same year.

After the birth of her second child she announced the happy news in a statement, with her publicist revealing: "Samantha and Paul are delighted to welcome a baby girl into the world, both mother and baby are doing well."
