The Game of Thrones actor claims he considered an ink tribute to show as HBO dropped the trailer Game of Thrones season 8.
Kit Harington has revealed the Game of Thrones cast had planned to get matching tattoos the commemorate the last ever series.
The 31-year-old actor describes the final series as "the end of an era" and claims his co-stars - which include Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams and Peter Dinklage - even had a special tattoo designed to mark eight seasons of the popular fantasy drama.
Kit, who played fan-favourite Jon Sow, told Heart Online: "At one point we were going to get tattoos to commemorate our time on the show and we never did, and I don't know if it's past the moment now.
"They had this tattoo designed with an eight and it had three lines through it, and you could only get the tattoo if you were in all eight seasons."
Kit also revealed her he had planned to follow his co-star Sophie Turner, who debuted her wolf tattoo on Instagram earlier this year.

"I was also thinking that I was just going to get a dire wolf as a tattoo on my arm but I wasn't sure because I don't have any other tattoos and I'm not really a tattoo person," he explained.
Speaking on some of the commemorative tattoo tributes from fans, Kit added: "I've seen a couple of people with tattoos of my face and that was just weird!"
Meanwhile, Game of Thrones fans were left on the edge of their seats after HBO dropped the first trailer for the final ever series, something which Kit claims is bittersweet.
He told us: "It's very rare anyone gets to do a TV show for ten years. I think from when we started TV is a different ball game now, there is so much good TV and huge budgets. It is an end of an era but I don't feel sad about it I'm more celebrating it."
