Is Fleur East a vegan? Is James McVey vegetarian? Viewers have been left confused after seeing the 'plant based' contestants tucking into meat in camp.
News that three of this year's I'm A Celebrity contestants are vegan, or at least vegetarian, has had viewers at home scratching their heads.
After it was revealed that Fleur East, James McVey and Sair Khan were apparently vegan and vegetarian people were understandably confused to see some of them tucking into Wallaby wings provided as one of the meals for camp.

Their dietary preferences came to light after they were ruled out of the eating based bush tucker trials.
But after some confusion, things have finally been cleared up...
Is James McVey vegan?
The 24-year-old Vamps star isn't vegan but he is vegetarian and this was confirmed by his official Twitter page during the show on Monday 19th November.
After fans thought they saw him chowing down on Wallaby wings, it was revealed that he only ate the vegetables that were provided to camp.
Hey guys. James is vegetarian and he didn’t eat any wallaby tonight, just the veggies that came with the meals they were given 👍🏼💛 #TeamJames #imaceleb (great pic 🙃) pic.twitter.com/v4zBPTvWnb

Is Fleur East vegan?
The 31-year-old singer is indeed vegan but only for fitness reasons.
In an interview with website Get The Gloss in April 2018 she revealed her reasons for adopting a plant based diet and its less about animals and more about eating right.
She said: "I watched What The Health on Netflix and when I found out what [animal products, according the documetary] are doing to our bodies, that was really my motivation. I became vegan the next day."
"I used to eat chicken every day - Nando’s was my best friend. I used to build muscle very quickly and I was worried that I would lose it. My friend Kyle Maslen said, ‘I bet a month into this you will lose your muscle mass, you will gain fat because you’ll be eating more carbs to compensate for the lack of meat.’ But a month into being vegan, I actually gained three kilos of muscle and my workout stayed the same. "
She may very well put her vegan lifestyle to one side while she is in the jungle but her official Twitter page is yet to comment.
Is Sair Khan vegan?
It turns out that Sair Khan is neither vegetarian or vegan and the reports that claim she is are false.
Her official Twitter account posted the following message...
Oh, and by the way - Sair isn’t vegetarian or vegan. We’ve no idea where that came from 🤔🙂 #TeamSair @imacelebrity

Whether they will be taking part in any of the eating trials remains to be seen but that's certainly cleared up any speculation about meals in camp!
Hopefully James gets given some exciting vegetables as just rice and beans won't make for a happy stomach for three weeks straight.
