Nick Knowles looks FURIOUS as Joel Dommett mocks his 'budgie smugglers'

The DIY SOS host glared at the comedian as he made a throwaway comment about his infamous red Speedos.

Nick Knowles was left visibly fuming after Extra Camp host Joel Dommett made a joke about his "budgie smugglers".

The DIY SOS host, 56, became infamous for parading around the jungle clearing in just his red swimming knickers, much to the amusement and embarrassment of campmates and people watching at home.

Last night Joel Dommett made a cheeky comment about the revealing pants, and it didn't go down well.

Introducing the last Extra Camp of the series, he said the "studio is packed with more famous flesh than Nick Knowles’ swimwear."

The camera cut to Nick looking less than impressed - with the cutting look enough to make Joel wince.

People watching at home picked up on the frosty glance.

One tweeted: "Nick Knowles’ face when they made a joke about his trunks?"

Another added: "On a scale of 1-10 Nick Knowles hatred for Joel is 25."

However, it wasn't just Joel, 25, making fun of Nick's knicks.

Noel Edmonds joked that he had a "dead budgie" in there, and John Barrowman, 51, went as far as wearing his own red pants in the shower, much to Emily Atack's amusement.

After leaving the jungle last week, Nick admitted that the eye-catching undies had destroyed his previous reputation as a sex symbol, and had probably hindered his chances of releasing a sexy calendar.
