The This Morning presenter stepped in to fill her pal Ant McPartlin's shoes, but it seems she might be back in 2019.
Holly Willoughby could be retuning to the jungle next year after impressing I'm A Celeb bosses.
The 37-year-old was a hit with viewers when she stepped in to co-present this year's I'm A Celebrity to replace Ant McPartlin while he takes time off following his drink drive arrest in May.
After helping to pull in the show’s highest ever ratings at 12.6 million during it’s first week, producers have been bowled over by the This Morning host.
A source told the Daily Star: “The original plan was for Holly to stand in while Ant was off and then hand the baton back. But she’s been such a success that producers are now keen to keep her whatever happens.
"Many presenters would have crumbled under the pressure of joining such a big show, but Holly stepped up to the plate. The top people at ITV are now really keen to get her back next year.”
Mum-of-three Holly took her three kids with her to Australia while she worked on the show, which insiders claim could make the star think twice about signing up for another series.
The source added: “It now depends on whether or not she wants to do another series.
"Being in Australia for five weeks is a big commitment. She has her family to think about.
“And she also has her commitments at This Morning to think about.”
Dec levelled expectations about Holly returning next year as he jokingly branded her stand-in role as a 'caretaker' stint, before quipping: "Don't get too attached."
Meanwhile, Ant is believed to be gearing up to his much-anticipated television return when he begins working on Britain’s Got Talent in January.
