The choice of unusual name may have come from one of the most iconic Corrie characters in the show's history - Hilda Ogden (played by Jean Alexander).
Jennie, who is best known for playing Fiz in Coronation Street, first appeared on the soap in 1997, and already has a three-year-old named Albert with her husband.
She recently revealed that producers used a car to cover her blossoming bump on set before she left the cobbles in September earlier this year.
She revealed: '"We started [covering the bump] with a mug, and then a handbag.
"I kid you not, last week they hid it with a Ford Fiesta.
"They said, 'Can we just move that car back a bit?' I said, 'Is this for my bump?' They said, 'Yeah, we can see it a bit, but it's going to help.'"
