The young soap star welcomed a baby girl into the world with girlfriend Levi Selby.
Coronation Street star Alex Bain has become a father at the age of 17 after his high school sweetheart, Levi Selby, gave birth to a little girl, who they've named Lydia-Rose Bain.
The actor, who plays troubled Simon Barlow in the soap, has been flooded with well wishes from fans.
His fatherhood comes just weeks after he and Levi sat their GCSE's.
