Katie Price 'buys £6k of Christmas decorations' after dodging bankruptcy

The glamour model has splashed out on fancy ornaments to put a positive end on a "s**t year".
Katie Price has splashed out £6,000 on Christmas decorations - just days after avoiding bankruptcy.
The glamour model, 40, has told friends she wants to end 2018 on a high, closing the door on a “s**t year”.
A pal told The Sun that it’s not just new baubles she’s after, with iPads, designer clobber for the kids and partner Kris Boyson, and KITTENS on her shopping list.
A source said: "Katie’s finally making money again through the TV show and endorsements, so she’s determined to make this the best Christmas ever after what she calls a 's*** year'.

"She wants to make it special for all of the kids and Kris, who’s stuck with her through the ups and downs.
"She’s telling friends she must have spent six grand on decorations and the house alone – the tree is huge and has four sets of lights on it."
The pal claims that Katie’s original Christmas decorations went missing when third husband Kieran Hayler, 31, moved out - and she's using it as an excuse to go bigger and better to show him what he’s lost.
They added: “Katie wants the house to look amazing so when people come over – like Kieran – they can see she’s got her life together and the mansion isn’t a tip anymore.

"She’s saying she wants to treat the kids and get them new iPads and buy Kris designer gear.
"Katie’s also on the hunt for two new kittens for Bunny and Jett.
"She is determined to make it the best Christmas yet after the worst year of her life and so doesn’t want to hold back."
This year Katie not only avoided bankruptcy, but also checked in to rehab for PTSD, was filmed rapping about taking cocaine on a boozy holiday, cheated on her new toyboy with another one, and kicked out sex addict Kieran after more lurid cheating claims emerged.

It was reported that she sold her menagerie of pets to raise funds to stave off the bailiffs, and was pictured cavorting half-naked in Thailand for pictures ex Pete was desperate to keep out of sight of their kids.
Her mum is also battling a deadly lung disease, and could die unexpectedly.
However, it won’t necessarily be the perfect Christmas for Katie, luxurious baubles or not.
New reports claim that her two kids with Peter Andre, Junior, 13 and 11-year-old Princess will be spending the festive season with him and his wife Emily, 29, and their two young children.
This comes just days after she revealed she still thinks that the Mysterious Girl singer was "the perfect man" for her.
