Woman On Motorcycle Dies In Lorry Crash

Northants Police are appealing for information following a fatal collision in Oakley Road in Corby.

The incident took place at about 5.20pm on Monday 16th September at the junction with Lyveden Way.

A lorry, driven by a 37-year-old man from North Wales, was in collision with a 125cc motorcycle, ridden by a 30-year-old woman from Corby.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The lorry driver was uninjured.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision and, in particular, are keen to talk to the driver of a small white car who is believed to have stopped at the scene before police arrived.
