Man Held Indefinitely For Hatchet Death

A lodger has been detained under the Mental Health Act after being found to have killed his landlord with a hatchet in Northampton.

Slovakian Kristian Kopco, 21, of Adnitt Road, Northampton will be held indefinitely for the killing of Timothy Keam.
 
Mr Keam, aged 48, from Adnitt Road, Northampton, was discovered dead in his house by police on 3 April 2013, having sustained significant head injuries.
 
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Behan, who led the investigation, said: "This has been an extremely tragic case and my thoughts are with Mr Keam's family and friends during what has been a very difficult time."
