15 Year Old Seriously Injured In Crash

A 15-year-old girl from Rothwell has been seriously injured following a road traffic collision at Rock Hill on Rushton Road, Rothwell yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).

At 3.20pm, a blue Ford Fiesta, travelling towards the Glendon Road junction, was in collision with the girl who was crossing the road.

The girl sustained a serious injury to her left thigh and was taken to Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry by air ambulance and later transferred to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
