Noel Gallagher has given his first 'interview' since announcing Oasis are getting back together - and told a cheeky young boy a tall tale about why he fell out with his brother.

As the world digests news of the long-awaited Oasis reunion, fan Steve Sheward shared a video of the moment he and his children ran into the rock-and-roll star in the Stone Island store in London.

Mr Sheward tells his children the man they're seeing was part of a "legendary band", while his eldest daughter asks: "Wait, is he getting back with his brother?"

One of his children then cheekily asks Noel why he fell out with Liam.

In response, Noel says: "Cause he stole my teddy bear."

After the boy says "you're lying", the High Flying Birds bandleader adds: "Not lying. He stole it in 1978."

Noel then cracks up when another lad tells him: "You're fake, see ya."

Another video from Mr Sheward shows Noel walking down the streets next to the kids. He jokingly asks one of the boys "can you drive?"

The boy fires back: "Yeah, I'm only 11."

X account Oasis Mania retweeted the video calling it "Noel Gallagher's first 'interview' since announcement of Oasis Reunion."

It felt like it would never happen - but now, finally, Oasis are back

Posting the clips on X, Mr Sheward said it was a "boyhood dream to walk into a pub for a Beer with Noel & Liam," but said the chance encounter "trumped that".

It comes as Oasis announced three extra dates for their 2025 stadium tour due to "unprecedented demand" following registration for a ticket pre-sale.

They have also extended the deadline to confirm entries to the pre-sale to 10am UK time on Friday after some social media users worried they had not received responses.

The band said the shows announced will be the only gigs they play in Europe next year, and quashed rumours of a Glastonbury headline slot.

Plans are also under way for shows further afield later in 2025.

Fans have complained that hotels in the gig areas have already ramped up prices. One chain in Manchester was accused of cancelling a booking made before the reunion announcement - and relisting the room for a higher price.
