Body Found After House Fire

An investigation has begun following a fire at a bungalow in Wolverton and the discovery of a body.

Firefighters from Great Holm and Newport Pagnell were called to an address in Furze Way at about 10.30am on Tuesday 12 March 2013. The fire is believed to have started in a bedroom.

Group Manager Greg Smith from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service said: “This was a tragic incident, and we would like to offer our condolences to family members, friends and the local community. Firefighters will be returning to the area this afternoon to provide fire safety advice and reassurance to local residents."

The investigation is being carried out by Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service and Thames Valley Police.
