1. Maleka Dattu, Founder of Merumaya
"Use an SPF everyday for preventative ageing. For anti-ageing it is never too late to start. Keep the skin well moisturised morning and night and use serum too. Select products that have clinically tested active ingredients and have been used at potent concentrations - it's not all about price. Anti-ageing is also about how you feel and when a woman looks confident, laughs a lot she definitely looks sexier and has a vitality that makes her appear more youthful." Merumaya is an integrative, effective skincare range.

2. Dr David Orentreich, Clinique’s Guiding Dermatologist
"To keep your skin healthy when the seasons change, follow these essential tips: 1) Don’t forget your SPF, even in the winter, 2) Drink water and use a humidifier at night if necessary, 3) Protect your skin from the elements, 4) Upgrade your moisturiser or add a moisturising treatment like Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief; but most importantly, 5) Listen to your skin! Be open to new formulas or gentler exfoliation if necessary." Clinique is a skincare and make-up brand that is allergy tested and 100% fragrance free.

3. Jenna Menard, Clinique’s Global Colour Artist
"Don’t always make beauty a 'routine'. Try new things once in a while and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Confidence also allows you to wear make-up that you might not normally wear. The first time you try a new bold lip colour and smoky eye, wear it with certainty to show off our overall look. Also, trying new things doesn’t always have to be dramatic; subtleties can certainly impact enough change to make makeup exciting." Clinique is a skincare and make-up brand that is allergy tested and 100% fragrance free.

4. Cassie Lomas, Bourjois' Chief Make-up Artist
"Match your foundation not only to your complexion but also check your chest is matching in shade as this tends to differ in shade. Apply your foundation over your entire eyelids and lips as a base before applying your eye and lip make-up. The colours will go on truer and will last longer Finally, if wearing false eyelashes, apply last after all your eye make up has been done." Bourjois is a French make-up brand that is sold internationally.

5. Jessica Cannell, DestinationSkin Training Specialist
DestinationSkin is a national chain of registered clinics specialising in non-invasive, advanced technological treatments for anti-ageing, permanent hair reduction and skin concerns. "My tip is: Green tea by day, red wine by night," says Jessica Cannell. "Green tea and red wine contain lots of powerful antioxidants to help protect all the cells in the body. My favourite is jasmine green tea in the daytime and a small glass of Pinot Noir in the evening. It is one of the best tipples for your skin - basically the darker the wine, the better it is for you."

6. Nicky Matthews, Founder of tanning brand Sienna X
"For the best possible results, wax/shave 24-48 hours before application, to prevent dotting in open pores. Exfoliate the night before, which will prepare the skin. Avoid using deodorant, perfume or makeup whilst applying the tan and don’t forget to polish nails as it will prevent staining. Finally, tie hair up off your face and neck. I recommend using the Sienna X Polishing Body Scrub to prepare for the perfect application."

7. Amanda Bell, Head Make-up Artist at Pixi
"Blush is one of my favourite pre-party pick me ups and a flush of colour on the apples of the cheeks makes you look so healthy. Choose a gel or creme blusher instead of powder for a really gorgeous effect. To make sure that you always place the blusher correctly, just trace down from the eye's iris and add a little colour at the apple. This little tip means that you will always get the perfect amount of blusher in the right place win-win. I'd recommend Pixi sheer cheek gel in Rosy for a universally flattering look."

8. Matthew Curtis, Lead Stylist at TRESemmè
"A lot of women tend to back comb their hair to give it that bit more volume, however this can damage the hair and can cause split ends, making the hair appear thin and ageing it unnecessarily. A great way to prevent this is by using a product to give hair volume at the root. I'd recommend TRESemmé Texture Style Backcomb Dust it works in the same way as backcombing yet does not damage the hair."

9. Lisa Potter-Dixon, Head Make-up Artist at Benefit
"Mixing your eye cream with your concealer will not only speed up your morning routine, but it will also make your concealer extra hydrating around the eye area. Mix on the back of your hand and then pat around the eye area using your ring finger. My fave combo for this recipe is Benefit’s It's Potent eye cream mixed with Erase Paste concealer. Your eyes will never have looked so bright!"

10. Simon Duffy, co-founder of men's range Bulldog Natural Skincare
"Avoid soap. The main problem many men find with soap is that it will dry their skin because of the harsh chemicals used in standard soap formulation. Ingredients in soap called surfactants allow oil and water to mix, which helps soap to remove oil from your skin. Our Original Face Wash was created specifically for men and is packed with Bulldog's unique blend of 8 essential oils. We've designed it to be a gentle but effective facial cleanser that is non-drying."
