On-air RULES

1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition) apply to ‘Gloucester Quays’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 16th December to Friday 20th December 2013 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Heart Gloucestershire.

2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the Radio Competition:

3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message with the word HOBBIT to 82122 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.

4. Entrants are selected to play at random from texts and all entrants selected to play will be required to talk to the presenters and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air. If the caller doesn’t answer their phone, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, or cannot continue the call for any reason, the call may be terminated and another entrant selected at random.

5. The winner of the (initial prize) a £100 Gloucester Quays Gift Card will determined by identifying the tittle of a film from the audio clip played. The Entrant will also win one of six places in the live final for the holiday to New Zealand (The Main Prize).

Eligibility:

6. The entrant must be a UK resident aged 21 or over on Monday 16th December 2013.

7. No employees or associates of Gloucester Quays are able to enter or employees of associated companies and agencies and anybody professionally connected with the promotion.

8. Multiple entries are permitted – you can enter as many times via text as you like.

9. For the chance to win the Main Prize the holiday to New Zealand the entrant must be able to attend the final at Cineworld Cinemas Gloucester on Saturday 21st December from 1600 (screening is at 1700).

On-line Rules

1. Details of the Competition:

3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to www.heart.co.uk, register their details and answer a competition question. Online entry will open at 16:00 on Friday 13th December and close at 10:00 on Friday 20th December 2013.

4. One winner will be picked at random from the correct entries received and must meet the criteria set out in the completion terms and conditions .

5. The winner will be contacted by phone on Friday 20th December and will forfeit entry into the final if they can not be contacted on the number supplied.

Eligibility:

8. Multiple entries are not permitted – duplicates entries will be removed.

Prize for both On-air & Online Competition

10. The initial prize is a £100 Gloucester Quays Gift Card, terms and conditions apply:

·       The prize is as stated and non-exchangeable or transferable
·       No cash alternative is available
·       Gloucester Quays reserves the right to withdraw the competition at any point

·       There are 5 gift cards to be won with Heart Breakfast - one per day plus one online.

11. Plus the 5 on-air winners and 1 online winner will also win a place in the final to win the holiday to NZ, see details below.

Details of the final competition:

12. The five on-air winners of the Gloucester Quays Competition broadcast on Heart Gloucestershire and the one online winner are eligible to enter the final draw.

13. All six winners will be invited to a film screening of the Hobbit at at Cineworld Cinemas Gloucester on Saturday 21st December from 1600 (screening is at 1700) were the final draw to win the trip to New Zealand (The Main Prize) will take place.

14. To be eligible for the prize draw all winners (not their representatives) must attend prior to the movie screening on 21st December from 1600 at Cineworld Cinema Gloucester Quays.

15. If an entrant fails to show or is late their entry will be excluded from the completion.

16. Entrants will need to bring photo ID to confirm their name and that they are 21 or over.

Details of the live competition final

17. To win the prize, all entrants will be invited to select a numbered ‘Ring Box’.

18. The order of how the entrants select ‘the ring box’ will be determined at random.

19. If an entrant selects an empty box no prize will be awarded.

20. The entrant who selects the ‘Ring Box” that contains a ring wins the Main prize of a Holiday to New Zealand.

The Main Prize (New Zealand Holiday) - Terms and Conditions

1. The prize consist of:

• Return flights for two people London – Auckland – London

• 14 days (13 nights) rental of a Britz Venturer motorhome

• 2x Middle Earth Trilogy passes which includes entrance to Waitomo Glowworm Caves, Te Puia Maori Cultural Village and The Hobbiton Movie Set

• £500 spending money. 

2. Global Radio will have to provide travel insurance subject to the winner providing travel dates and completing a medical questionnaire.

4. Travel must take place between 01 May and 15 November 2014 and is subject to availability.

5. The prize must be claimed within 21 days of notification of the win.

6. Cash alternatives are not available.

7. The prize is non-transferable.

8. The competition is open to UK Residents only and entrants must be aged 21 years or over on the 16th December 2013.

9. The winner and the guest must hold a valid UK or EU passport and a full driving license held for at least 2 years.

10. It is the responsibility of the prize winner and their companion to ensure they have valid passports, any necessary visa and vaccinations.

11. The prize is for 2 people travelling together

12. The flights are in economy class including taxes and surcharges.

13. The winner is responsible for all additional costs not specified in the prize. These costs include accident liability insurance, visas and vaccination, petrol, food, drinks, meals, visas, health insurance, travel to and from UK airports, parking and other incidental expenses.    

14. Any amendments to, or cancellation of the flights and motorhome hire made by the winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges, which will be the responsibility of the winner. Any amendments (including name changes) will be regarded as cancellations and a penalty will apply.

15. Travelbag will not be held liable for any failure of any third party to fulfil its contractual obligations.

16. The prize may be amended if events occur outside of the sponsors’ control.

17. The prize can only be delivered to a UK address.

18. Entry excludes employees of associated companies and agencies and anybody professionally connected with the promotion. Proof of eligibility must be provided on request.

19. Entry to the final draw denotes acceptance of these conditions.
