The Blue Group Rules

The Blue Group on Heart Essex,
February and March 2014
RULES

1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http//:www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition) apply to ‘The Blue Group’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th March 2014 (“the Duration”).  The "Radio Station" is Heart Essex.

2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the Competition:

3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must phone Heart Essex on 01245 525252 when the presenter opens the phone lines.  One entrant will be randomly selected and taken to air. 

4. The entrant will be played a piece of audio and asked a question based on the audio.  If the entrant correctly answers the question they will win the daily prize.  If they answer incorrectly, the phone lines will be re opened and another entrant will be randomly selected. 

Eligibility:

5. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.

6. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be removed.

Prize:

7. The daily winner will receive the prize for that day:

Monday 2nd March – a three course evening meal for two people including champagne at The Blue Bridge, Writtle to the value of £200.  A cheque for £50 to cover travel expenses. To be taken on any date subject to availability.  

Tuesday 3rd March – a three course evening meal and drinks for two people with an overnight stay and breakfast the following morning at The Blue Boar, Abridge.  The meal and drinks to the value of £150.  To be taken on any evening subject to availability.

Wednesday 4th March – Sunday Roast for six people including drinks at the William B, Hatfield Peverel to the value of £350. To be taken on any date subject to availability.

Thursday 5th March – Lunch for six people including drinks to the value of £350 at The Blue Bridge, Writtle.  To be taken on any date subject to availability.

Friday 6th March – a three course meal for two people including drinks with an overnight stay and breakfast the following morning at The Blue Anchor, Feering.  Meal and drinks to the value of £150.  To be taken on any evening subject to availability.

8. All winners will be sent a letter confirming their prize and asking them to contact Steve to arrange their prize, the monetary value of the meal will be specified in the letter where relevant.

9. All meals and hotel stay will be subject to availability.

10. The winner will be required to collect the prize from Heart, 31 Glebe Road, Chelmsford.  CM1 1QG.

11. Global Radio reserves the right to substitute prize.
