Two Arrests After Southend Stabbing

A 20-year-old man has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed in the stomach.

It happened at about 12:30pm yesterday (Monday September 26th) near Romany Steps and Crystal Steps.

A 22-year-old local man was arrested shortly after, in nearby Beresford Road, and a 20-year-old local man was arrested later the same day.

A blood stained knife was recovered from a bin near the scene. It is believed that the victim and the arrested men were known to one another.
