South Ockendon: Missing Man Could Be Here

Police say a young man who has been missing for a week has connections to South Ockendon and could be there.

Gary Aris has not been seen for the past week or made contact with his family.

The last text the 23-year-old man from Bildeston area sent to a family member indicated that he "was not in a good place" and he may self-harm.

Police are concerned for Gary's welfare and are keen to find him to be assured that he is safe and well.

He is described as white, approximately 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build, brown hair, a piercing in his left ear and tattoos on both arms.

Gary has connections and friends in South Ockendon so officers believe he may have travelled there.

Anyone with information in connection with Gary Aris' whereabouts is urged to contact officers at Bury St Edmunds police station on 101.
