The Essex Air Ambulance carries a highly skilled crew of Doctors, Paramedics and life-saving equipment to a patient within the first few vital minutes of an emergency and has flown over 11,000 missions.
It costs around £250,000 per month to run covering all charitable costs and aircraft operation. They receive no direct government or lottery funding; relying upon the generous people of Essex to keep the aircraft flying!
The Herts Air Ambulance operates 5 days per week and carries a highly skilled crew of Doctors, Paramedics and life-saving equipment to a patient within the first few vital minutes of an emergency.
Maintaining the life-saving helicopter costs around £130,000 per month to cover all charitable costs and aircraft operations. They receive no direct government or lottery funding; relying upon the generosity of local people to keep the aircraft flying!
