Old Park Meadow Natural Burial Ground is set in the heart of the Essex Countryside between Chelmsford and Great Dunmow. A natural final resting place full of wildflowers and young woodland, it is a space visiting family and friends can return to and enjoy together. They offer natural burials, ash interments, funeral services and wakes. You can also plan ahead by reserving a burial or an ash plot in one of the areas around the grounds.
Whatever your requirements, they make the experience as efficient, comfortable and stress-free as possible and ensure nothing is overlooked.
Their natural burial ground is open to people of all beliefs and backgrounds, and there are no additional fees if you live outside of the local area. They have a range of natural and young woodland burial services and a variety of memorial options to suit your needs. Nothing is fixed, they give you the freedom to decide when and how you would like the ceremony to be conducted and do everything they can to make it happen.
They are members of the Association of Natural Burial Grounds and follow their Code of Conduct that provides the public with the assurance of best practice.
