Nightclub Stabbing In Bournemouth
Detectives in Bournemouth are investigating after a man was seriously assaulted at a nightclub in the town.
A man was left with knife wounds after he was attacked at approximately 4.05am on Sunday 11 March 2012 in the entrance foyer of Priva nightclub.
The victim, a 21-year-old man from Watford, was leaving the club when he was stabbed three times by another man – twice to his stomach and once to the underside of his arm.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
Detective Constable Jon Sainsbury, of Bournemouth CID, said:
“I believe that an altercation between the offender, the victim and his friends may have taken place earlier in the evening in the corridor next to the toilets in the club.
“This was a serious assault and I would urge anyone with information about the person responsible to contact me as soon as possible.”
