Efit image released following indecent assault in Lymington
Police have released an Efit image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an indecent assault in Lymington.
The incident occurred between 1pm and 2pm on Wednesday June 30.
A 16-year-old local girl was approached by a man in New Street who engaged her in conversation before allegedly pulling her into the grounds of an abandoned building and kissing her before letting her go.
The offender is described as:
White
18-years-old
5ft 11 tall
Muscular build
Dark blond hair
Blue eyes
Shaven
He was wearing a green sleeveless top, shorts and flip flops.
PC Ian Cross said: “I would like to reassure the community that incidents like these are very rare in the New Forest but they show that people, especially young girls, need to be aware of their surroundings.
“We clearly need to identify and speak to the suspect about this incident and would ask for your help in identifying him.
“I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who thinks they recognise the man in the Efit image.”
