Murder Charge

A man's been charged over a murder in Lower Ashtead. here is the statement from Surrey Police

Thirty-three-year-old Richard Davies Jones, a solicitor from Woodfield Lane, Lower Ashtead, was in the early hours of this morning charged with the murder of 31-year-old Laura Grace Emily Davies Jones, a social worker from the same address.

Officers were called to the property shortly before 2pm on Wednesday 1 December, where Mrs Davies Jones was found with life threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at around 2.30pm. A post-mortem examination found the cause of death to be a stab wound to the throat.

Mr Davies Jones will be appearing at Guildford Magistrates Court today (Monday 13 December
