Cambridge Christmas Lights Switch On 2014
Heart's proud to be launching the countdown to Christmas in Cambridge this November.
There'll be great music and entertainment all weekend across the city centre at Grand Arcade, The Grafton, Lion Yard and Market Square.
When?
The Big Switch on is taking place on the weekend of 15th and 16th November and Cambridge BID invites you to join them in the fun and festivities.
Saturday
This year Cambridge will be host to a weekend of activities starting at The Grafton.
The fun begins Saturday 15th November from 2pm with a special appearance of Ben and Holly from kids TV show "Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom"
They're set to leave their Little Kingdom for a day to entertain the crowds alongside a visit from Santa and his helpers, and performances from Tom Korni, and a winner of Cambridge Has Talent.
The Grafton Centre lights will be switched on at 16:30.

Sunday
The fun continues on Sunday 16th November where you will find an array of circus performers throughout the city.
There will be a penguin circus* wandering around the historic city performing tricks and entertaining the crowd.
Grand Arcade and Lion Yard will be lit up at 4pm and the big switch on will reach its finale in Market Square at 5pm.

The Market Square this year will play host to Cambridge Has Talent winners and some great, local community groups including Sin Cru Break Dancers, Razzamataz Performing Arts, The Rock Choir, Abbey Ward Glee Club and last year’s winner Music & Spies.
