A man found with serious head injuries in a road in Reading, has died.
Twenty four year old Marek Szewczyk, from Body Road, was discovered on Castle Street roundabout at around 10.15pm on Friday 26th February. He was transferred to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford but doctors could not save him.
Police are treating his death as unexplained. Detective Sergeant Dave Turton, from Reading CID, said, "We continue to keep an open mind about this incident and how the man suffered his injuries."
"We carried out anniversary checks on the Castle Street roundabout on Friday, a week after the incident, and we spoke to a number of people. However, we still need more witnesses to come forward."
Two men have been arrested and bailed in connection with the case, but police are still looking for information.
