Flour And Oil Spill

A tonne of flour and 200 litres of oil's had to be cleared off the A421 in Bedfordshire after a crash between a lorry and two cars.
The crash happened on the eastbound carriageway near Ridgmont, close to Junction 13 of the M1, just after 3.20pm on Saturday 28 September 2013.
The crash left the lorry on its side. The oil involved was hydraulic oil.
Fire crews from Kempston, Bedfordshire and another from Buckinghamshire were sent to deal with the crash and spill. The spill was subsequently left to Highways crews to clear up.
The driver of the lorry was treated for slight injuries.
