Let's Light Up Christmas In Southport!

Join us on Saturday 22nd November for Southport's Christmas Light Switch On, as we turn the lights on in real style!

Southport is getting really festive with half a million brand new Christmas Lights! The BIG Lights Switch On takes place on Saturday 22nd November and the celebrations kick off at midday in Lord Street (in front of Atkinson). 

Heart Breakfast's Joel along with Atomic Kitten’s Liz McClarnon, will be hosting an afternoon of top professional and local bands and dance acts from midday, and counting down to the switch on at 5:30pm.

Pressing the button will be some famous faces, Coronation Street stars Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw) and Katie McGlynn (Sinead Tinker) plus Southport's own panto stars including former Coronation Street star Ken Morley and Emmerdale & Waterloo Road star Kay Purcell.

Add great shopping in all the High Street and independent stores, Christmas market stalls, entertainers and even live camels and it's sure to be festive fun for the whole family. The Heart Angels will be there too with free face painting and reindeer antlers to pop on, so see you there!
