Captain Beaky & His Band is the cover title of two fantastic albums of poetry by Jeremy Lloyd, set to music by Jim Parker and recited by British celebrities. First released in 1977, a generation of children and parents enjoyed the adventures of Captain Beaky through radio, TV shows and a West End Musical.
Introduced by Sir Roger Moore KBE, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, the evening features a host of special celebrity guests recounting these magical poems with musical interludes and performances.
