Essex Students Get Results
With A Level results out today the race is on to avoid next year's hike in university tuition fees.
It's predicted there is going to be four applicants for every clearing space with up to 85,000 unlikely to get a place.
Around a quarter of universities have already confirmed they'll have no clearing places available.
Pat Watson, Head of Admissions for Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford, has this advice for those who haven't got what they wanted:
