Ely: Hollywood Filming at Cathedral

There are reports part of an upcoming Hollywood blockbuster's being filmed at Ely Cathedral next week.

It's reported the Sci-fi film Jupiter Ascending, starring Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum, is being partly shot there, but it's not known whether they'll be in the scenes which are being filmed at the cathedral or not.

The cast also includes Sean Bean and Eddie Redmayne.

The film's due to be released next year, and is being directed by Lana and Andy Wachowski, who also directed The Matrix and Cloud Atlas.

Scenes from The King's Speech and The Other Boleyn Girl have also been filmed in Ely in the past.

Ely Cathedral's previously been nominated as the best film and TV location in the east of England.
