Robin Cousins Speaks To Heart

Heart's been speaking to Bristol's Robin Cousins about Winter Olympics and how he would love to see a winter sports facility in Bristol.
The gold medalist is now an ambassador for Team GB in the Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014.
Heart caught up with him at a training weekend at the University of Bath where he met up with all the athletes as part of Team GB for Sochi next year.
A spokesman for Bristol City Council said:
'We have met with a number of potential operators and have focussed in on a site we own in Hengrove. However, to date, despite some initial interest, no firm proposal has been received from any operator.
'There appears to be broad agreement that the site in Hengrove is the best site we have for an ice rink, but the council has to be absolutely certain that any proposal is financially viable.
'Until we receive a firm bid it is difficult to see how we can assess this important issue. We will continue to promote a new ice rink for Bristol, but are entirely dependent on an operator coming forward.'
