Two beautiful lionesses called Arusha and Vilma have arrived at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm in Bristol to pair with the parks popular lion brothers Zulu and Masai.
Setting up home within the 'Big Cat Sanctuary' at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm, the pretty feline girls arrived last week from Heythrop Zoological Gardens in Chipping Norton, Oxon.
Wednesday will see the lionesses let out into their outdoor enclosure for the first time to explore in the sun, temporarily kept separate from the male lions whilst they get used to their new surrounds.
Noah's Ark will set up a breeding program for the lions in the future, keeping one male and female pair and moving the second pair to another zoo.
Big Cat Keeper Emma Godsell from Noah's Ark said:
'We're delighted to welcome the two new girls Arusha and Vilma to Noah's Ark and I'm pleased to see how well they're settling in.
'Our two boys Zulu and Masai are very intrigued by the scent of new cats at the Big Cat Sanctuary.'
